MAC Group - Creating a complex website integrated with an external store
SCOPE OF WORK:
- Creating a complex educational website integrated with an external store
THE CHALLENGE:
Creating a website with an extensive information structure, designed to be used by “non-technical users”, as well as organising a variety of content related to the MAC.pl range
OUR TASK:
Our task was to create an information architecture that would also be friendly to non-technical users, which would allow them to smoothly navigate the website and quickly get to know the brand’s complex range of materials.
Thanks to UX recommendations and comprehensive user research, we created a website structure that is not only transparent but also extremely user-friendly.
SOLUTION:
Based on the analyses and research provided by the client, we created a programming portal containing all the indicated functions, implemented in such a way that each user could comfortably use all the website’s services.
In the course of our work, we tried to best respond to the most important challenges, while at the same time creating an organised and transparent information structure, which would translate into user experience and make it easy for users without technical expertise to use the website.
We created a Teacher Zone where, using their login and password, teachers could update their details in the system (integrated with Customer Services and CRM) and gain access to hidden content, which significantly reduced workload for the client’s call centre.
At the same time, we prepared the website for high traffic spikes, which enabled the MAC Group to implement videoconferencing and webinars with dynamically generated certificates for users.
We built the website so that it would work perfectly in the cloud (operation based on 3-6 application servers, one database server and a load balancer), and also allow the client to modify individual elements of the website themselves, giving them the possibility to make changes to the range of materials on offer and the content.

InPost - creating a contest with custom mechanics
SCOPE OF WORK:
- Development and implementation of graphic design, front-end and back-end, as well as configuration of the production environment, combined with server management and comprehensive support throughout the entire contest process.
THE CHALLENGE:
Creating a contest based on mechanics that would combine the online and offline worlds, while maintaining the brand’s tone of voice emphasising efficiency, modernity and user-friendliness.
OUR TASK:
“A gnome on tour” was a summer promotional campaign making use of the vast network of Parcel Lockers throughout Poland. It gave users the chance to send InPost gnomes for long, free holidays to the farthest corners of our country.
As part of the contest, users formed teams whose task was to send a garden gnome from one parcel locker to another. Each team had only one gnome at their disposal. The winning team was the one whose gnome covered the longest route in the allotted time. The number of individual trips (and therefore parcels) was unlimited.
Our task included designing all the graphic materials, app design, server maintenance and implementation of the mechanisms needed to run the contest, as well as verifying the results.
SOLUTION:
As part of our work, we created a Facebook app in which users could join teams, receive their gnome and send promotional parcels as part of the campaign. The app allowed users to communicate with each other, as well as to check where in Poland their gnome was at any given moment.
The app that we created made full integration with the client’s system (web service) possible, which allowed users to send parcels, track statuses and set up their accounts. The entire system, programmed with Ruby on Rails, was launched in the cloud, and we were responsible for its operation and efficient maintenance of the production environment.

Rosa Group - Design and implementation of a website and CMS
Scope of work:
- front-end implementation (Foundation)
- back-end implementation (PHP Symfony)
- custom widget displaying columns (JavaScript)
- configuration of the production environment
- server management (dedicated hosting)
- post-implementation support
- development and new functions
- continuous delivery (Docker, Ansible)
OUR TASK:
The main task that we were faced with was end-to-end system implementation, including, among other things: the website, CMS for website and product database management, product card generator, and API for the mobile app.
The client wanted to be able to edit all subpages of the website and conveniently manage an extensive database of almost 2,000 products, displayed attractively, while maintaining responsive web design.
Additionally, we were responsible for moving the client’s database and importing all its elements to the new system, while ensuring communication with the mobile application remained constant.
SOLUTION:
As part of our work, we made the front end using the ZURB Foundation framework. The back end was based on PHP Symfony. The primary database we used was MySQL, but we also used MongoDB and Memcached in the project to increase efficiency.
We also created a CMS panel in which you could easily manage the content on the website through a special visual block editing system, plus we designed an innovative way of displaying light poles.
In the CMS panel, we also added the possibility to work from any number of locations, along with a configurable system of roles and accesses. For product database management, we implemented a mechanism to preview and publish changes.
