I have been working as Geex’s coordinator at x-kom since 2019. x-kom is one of the biggest computer stores in Poland and Geex is a quickly growing website offering technology content: news, reviews and lifestyle.

1000software built Geex website. We have been working on developing its new functionalities since 2019. #). In the process, we cooperate with x-kom experts: IT and UX. (1000software Programmers <-> 1000software Project Manager <-> Me <-> x-kom IT/UX).

When I joined the project, they have been already working with 1000software. It’s been recommended to the team by one of the members friend. And this is how it all started.

Geex has been developed on WordPress engine with Elementor (available many plugins and friendly CMS). Because of it we can focus on building custom’s functionalities (php, css, html, js, C#).

I work directly with one of the project manager. In a couple of days off I was in touch with deputy, who was very friendly and the quality of service was excellent.

They listen and work to get the job done right for both sides, and that's really important for us.

At the time of creating this website I was a self employed personal growth coach.

Project consisted of a few phases - at the beginning they started with business analysis and did research on my needs. Then they approached graphic design and we started to work on the Wordpress itself.

It took a few weeks to have the first version of the working wordpress website and after that we kept working together implementing improvements and new features.

As far as I remember I worked with 2 project managers, 1 graphic designer and 2 wordpress developers. The IT director did appear in the process as a consultant as well.

Website is doing its job since 2015. Helped me in my daily work and allowed me to grow my services into a thriving business. I am very satisfied with the outcome.

MAC Group is a polish publishing house focused on education. I am a marketing communication manager.

We needed to design a new website for our growing company. It needed to be integrated with our CRM and few other tools from our ecosystem. We were aiming to get a competitive advantage and modern look representing our company’s values and character. We needed a system that would be easy to manage and grow, as well as to solve current IT problems.

At the beginning we started with many face to face meetings during which we worked out a project scope. 1000software analysed our needs, organization structure and tools we used at the time and suggested a technical solution (Symfony, PHP).

Next step was focused on user experience and graphic design. After that 1000software approached software development. System was ready to launch after a few months of work. After production deployment we signed a service level agreement (SLA) which is still valid today.

We have had our website operating for more than 5 years and have gone together through a few seasons with high traffic peaks and many unexpected situations haven't been disappointed even once with their service. Traffic on our site has grown even 10 fold and we still are having a perfectly smooth experience for each user.

We work agile using Jira in monthly sprints for regular maintenance and project-base for other services - additional requests.

Right away we found a common ground and built a true understanding - this allowed us to offload a pretty impressive amount of tasks without time-consuming never-ending meetings, debriefings and so on.

Everything was and is in perfect order.

The University of Szczecin, Faculty of Economics, Finance and Management I was the Vice-dean of the Faculty when we have started the project, responsible for cooperation

We hired 1000software for custom software development. We needed a university-wide system to provide a database to manage our workers' academic achievements and professional development.

We knew people who manage 1000software and we were sure that they would provide the best possible answer to our needs in a sensible, predictable budget.

The scope of work included first of all researching our needs and designing a system model on that. We had database diagrams and system mockups delivered. After that, we approached the project design and development phase, which has ended with a fully functional operating product.

1000software delivered the system on their own server structure and moved it to university servers after some time. They used Ruby on Rails and a custom made CMS system. The whole project was delivered running on Linux-based machines. The final stage is running up today and it is maintenance and system development based on our SLA contract.

We worked with project managers, ruby on rails developers, frontend developers, graphic designers, and with the information director. It was about 10 people.

The project is operating in our university structures already for 7 years and even after these years is still delivering its purpose.

We hired 1000software to create a custom software solution for our startup. Our goal was to create a product that will be useful for the users and that will compete with other similar ones on the market.

The last phase was to publish and support our platform live. 1000software helped with selecting and managing cloud server environments for us and was a partner for upcoming years providing us with fast and comprehensive support.

1000software was able to support our startup for 3 consecutive years. It is hard to state any measurable outcomes right now because this project was shut down due to business reasons. In general, we always could count on 1000software, that they would deliver every crazy idea we will have.

1000software project management style was pretty agile, we worked in a close relationship and in constant contact. We used Redmine to manage tasks. Deadlines were very short, as in a startup.

Their open approach and understanding of a client’s need. They really had listened to our needs and did their best to bring them to life.

Can’t really think of any. They did a great job.
